Work Experience
ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Stellar Exploration, Inc. , San Luis Obispo, CA, April 2018 – Present
Worked in a startup-like environment where high quality hardware was necessary to be delivered at short turn around. I have the platform to make design decisions for a highly complex subsystem. The work environment pushed me to be flexible, but most of all to be more curious. Some of the projects I am involved with include: Space Grade Lithium-ion Battery, Propulsion Electronic Board for Monopropellant/Bipropellant System, Flat-Sat Projects.
This job has provided the following:
• working under rigid deadline
• Improved Self Learning-Skills
• Working with Open Ended Design Goal
• Ownership of Design •
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Intern
Cisco Systems, Inc. , Milpitas, CA, June 2017 – September 2017
My last internship at Cisco involved two teams. The first team was the ASIC testing team. I helped create a python based post processing tool for ASIC error mapping and debugging in order to decrease time for root cause analysis.
The second team was the core power team at Cisco. I preformed control and power testing of a new 54V to 3.3V point of load converter. I also started the development of a mathematical model for transient response based on open loop and closed loop impedances. Lastly, I gained experience in power system stability through compensation and control theory.
• Using power electronics INSTRUMENTATION tools
• expanding coding skills to python
• working on multiple projects at the same time
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Intern
Cisco Systems, Inc. , Milpitas, CA, June 2016 – September 2016
This internship was pivotal in choosing my focus within the electrical engineering major. I was introduced to the topic of power electronics! I was responsible for redesigning a hotswap power module to enable higher power rating and filter output inrush current waveform. This involved identifying the device’s behavior and running experiments to characterize of inrush current.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Intern
Cisco Systems, Inc. , Milpitas, CA, June 2015 – September 2015
As my first time working for a cooperate company, I got the opportunity to familiarize myself with the business. I was introduced to the engineering, supply chain, and marketing teams and work closely with all of them throughout the summer. I gained valuable experience in debugging, testing, and instrumentation. I developed and managed a traceability tool that encapsulated the business unit products while establishing a user interface using excel macros.
This job has provided the following:
• introduction to engineering company
• working with Cross
functional Teams •
